Allen started trading stocks and options in 2005. Since 2013 the core has been buy-and-hold: write Covered Calls on shares he owns, Cash-Secured Puts on shares he wants, occasional vertical spreads, premium reinvested. He has run that through more than one bull and bear market.
Before that, and alongside it: a math major, eighteen years in the USAR, and thirty-seven+ years as IT professional -- applications developer and Quality Assurance Engineer. That mix is the teaching style. Complicated ideas get cut down to a unit you can actually click: 100 shares, one option contract, a log in worksheet, a loop.
He built Learn with Qi for people who do not have a spare forty hours a week to become a trader. Working professionals, students, retirees, business owners. The constraint is time. The answer is a repeatable process, not a chat room distracted traders looking for an easy trade.
